The number one field wasabi region in Japan. Few know it exists.
Grown in soil. From Iwaizumi, Iwate.

Our Story───
Iwaizumi, Iwate.
A region where more than 93% of the land is covered by forest.
The number one producer of field wasabi in Japan.
It has been seven years since I moved here to grow wasabi.
Along the way, I made a decision.
I would not simply harvest my wasabi and hand it off to someone else.
I would deliver the wasabi grown in Iwaizumi as exactly that — wasabi from Iwaizumi.
That is why I chose to handle everything myself, from cultivation to processing to sales.
I use no pesticides. No chemical fertilizers.
Because I want to make wasabi that could only come from this place — drawing as much as possible from the nature of Iwaizumi.
Almost all commercial wasabi products contain artificial pungency additives.
The compounds that give wasabi its heat are highly volatile, and are lost during processing.
Even so, I want to deliver the heat and flavor of real wasabi as it is — without additives, as much as possible.
Hon-Wasabi Powder is made from 100% wasabi grown in Iwaizumi.
No additives. No preservatives. No artificial coloring. No pungency additives.
Mix it with water, and the flavor comes back to life — a refined sweetness and a clean, fruity heat.
That is the taste of wasabi from Iwaizumi.
This is a small farm. I cannot produce large quantities.
But I will deliver only as much as I can stand behind — in taste, and in responsibility.
